If you have to make redundancies, our experienced advisers can make sure you and your employees are supported through this stressful time.

Partnership Action for Continuing Employment (PACE) is the Scottish Government’s initiative to help individuals and employers during redundancy situations.

PACE supports businesses of any size, no matter how many employees are involved. It’s free of charge, and can help take away some of the strain of dealing with redundancy.

How can PACE help?

Your staff will get support from PACE partners like Skills Development Scotland, JobCentre Plus, local authorities, Citizens Advice, colleges and training providers. We are experienced, know the labour market and can help staff move on.

Steps involved in PACE support:

  1. Local PACE advisers will visit your business, talk to your employees and understand their needs.
  2. We’ll provide free, impartial advice and offer one-to-one support.
  3. We’ll help your staff in their job search, giving support with CVs, job applications, interviews and training opportunities.
  4. We can also help to check what benefits they may be entitled to, as well as their rights and entitlements.
