Create the right culture, be a good leader, motivate your staff

The skills and knowledge of your employees is key to your growth strategy, that's why we work with Investors in People to deliver Skills for Growth. It works by combining consultancy from Investors in People with guided support from our Employer Engagement Advisers which is all free of charge. We’ll help you create a detailed people plan, figure out how to develop your staff or simply understand where to start.

Our advisers will guide you through the whole process. They'll help you make the best use of the skills you and your staff already have, work with training providers to fill the gaps and maximise any funding available to you.

Before you apply

It's worth noting that your business will be responsible for the cost of any actions you choose to take as a result, for example, training or taking on new staff but we will work with you to see if we can maximise any public sector funding that could help you.

The service is available to businesses in Scotland with between five and 250 employees and is completely free of charge.
